2 HOUR LESSON - New self-esteem lesson for 2023 to cover both the DfE and PSHE Association’s guidelines. Everything is editable. engaging and easy to follow, with a variety of activities, from scaffolded written tasks, clip tasks, creative tasks, case study analysis and much more.
Students will investigate the importance of self-esteem, the various factors that can affect our self-esteem and how we can work to boost it. They will also explore the psychology behind self-esteem, why setbacks feel like a big deal to some and not others and how to be resilient and manage their own self-esteem levels throughout challenges in life.

New PSHE lesson, could be useful for anti-bullying week 2024 as ‘choose respect’ is the theme. This lesson is best suited to lower KS3. Each contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.

Each booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. No internet access needed.

Created to run over 2 x 25 minute Tutor Time sessions, this lesson is an introduction to British far-right extremism and so-called ‘Tommy Robinson’. It could just as easily be used as an hour long Citizenship or PSHE session as there is a lot to talk about and lots of tasks to cover.
Students will explore the truth about ‘Tommy Robinson’ and his criminal background as well the history of fascist and nationalist-groups in the UK and why this isn’t something we can just ignore.
Pack includes PowerPoint, information sheets and worksheets with differentiated questions.

A Diversity Drop Down Day Pack - A set of 6 lessons to cover a Citizenship / PSHE Drop Down Day (6 hours) which could be use with either KS3 or KS4 as an off time-table day for the end of term.
All the resources are editable and well-differentiated so it could be used with any year group KS4 / KS3, with the option to tweak if you want to.
The Drop Down Day celebrates diversity but also investigates opposition and bigotry, as well as exploring how to tackle this, head on.
Each lesson lasts an hour and they can be used in any order:
What can we learn from religion about tolerance in a diverse society like the UK?
What is multiculturalism - why is our society so diverse, why do some people oppose diversity? What benefits does a diverse society bring?
What is homophobia? Why does this still exist?
Who are trans people? What is transphobia? How can make our school an inclusive place for all?
What are sex and gender anyway? How are we all incredibly diverse, with different orientations and personal expression?
An examination into how some people use fake news to scare others about the consequences of embracing diversity. How to pick apart these news articles and use critical thinking by studying a variety of sources and evidence.

General Election 2024- The Labour Party. A lesson all about who the Labour Party are, their values, their history, their leader, Keir Starmer, and their current policies. The lesson also introduces the concept of socialism.
The lesson is written from an extremely neutral and factual standpoint and a similar lesson covering the Conservative Party is to follow. This is perfect to cover two Citizenship lessons or a week of Tutor Time in the run up to the 2024 General Election.
